Adult Learning January 2017

 

We will be offering the following adult learning courses this term:

 

Maths Skills for Everyday Life Wednesday 9.30am-1130am starting 18.01.17 

English Skills for Everyday Life Wednesday 12.30pm-2.30pm starting 18.01.17

The maths and English courses are an ideal opportunity to learn skills needed for everyday life and future employment. The course last for 23 weeks.

 

Introduction to Adult Health and Social Care Thursday 1pm-3pm starting 26.01.17

The Introduction to Adult Health and Social Care course aims to increase your knowledge in a number of areas  in relation to working in the adult social care sector. The course lasts for 10 weeks.

 

The courses will take place in the Bungalow. The maths and English courses are free and the Introduction to Adult Health and Social Care is free to those who receive means tested benefits.

With changes in benefit rules, this is an ideal time to learn new skills, which may help you gain employment in the future.
